From Leadership to Listening: My Journey to Becoming a Therapist
From Leadership to Listening: My Journey to Becoming a Therapist
Life has a way of bringing us full circle.
Before I ever sat across from a client as a therapist, I spent over 20 years working with and leading teams in Europe and North America. It was meaningful work, exciting, stressful and challenging at times but something deeper called to me — a desire to support people not just in performance, but in purpose.
Now, as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and MACP candidate at Yorkville University, I bring those years of leadership, listening, and life experience into every session. My work is grounded in empathy, honesty, and a deep belief that every individual already holds the strengths they need to move forward — sometimes we just need help seeing it.
I specialize in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Whether you're facing anxiety, ADHD, parenting struggles, or relationship challenges, I’m here to offer warm, collaborative support.
As a husband, father, volunteer, and proud member of the Ancaster community, I know life’s curveballs well. I offer therapy online across Ontario and in-person at Daru Therapy Centre, a welcoming space in the heart of Ancaster.
If you’re ready to start your own journey toward change and healing, I’d be honoured to walk beside you.
